Well, we did it! We all enjoyed our 40th class reunion on a 7-day Alaskan cruise aboard the Golden Princess. There were 18 classmates in the group of 34 people. Besides the classmates from Oahu and Molokai, the classmate that traveled the furthest was Brenna (Hagiwara) Takata from Virginia, also joining the group were Christy (Schofield) Tada from California, Oren Murakami from Nevada, Sandy Hom from Oregon, and Wayne (Moss) Shimabukuro from Idaho.

Everyone enjoyed themselves on board the ship, especially our impromptu gatherings. Hovey, Sandy and Moss played their ukuleles while everyone joined the sing along. Classmates took various shore excursions… Mendenhall Glacier and ziplining in Juneau, White Pass Scenic Railway in Skagway, Wildlife and Rainforest Sanctuary in Ketchikan, etc.
